Wild Things is our Kiwi Conservation Clubs' magazine aimed at kids aged 5-13 years. It makes topics understandable, engaging and fun using a range of articles and activities. Each issue also contains calls-to-action, so that kids and families can use their hands, eyes, and voice to make a real difference for nature.
There are two packs* for you to choose from. Each pack costs $20.00 including postage & packing (NZ only):
1 - Mixed back issues (from 2018-2021) – Currently includes 'Freshwater', 'Day/Light', 'Marine Mammals', and 'Who eats what?'.
2 - All 4 issues published in 2023 - Includes 'Pebbles', 'Shells', 'Feathers', and 'Leaves'.
If you're looking for KCC packs that include soft toys, please see here.
*NOTE this does not include KCC membership, but we’d love the youngsters in your community to join us as Forest & Bird Kiwi Conservation Club | Hakuturi Toa (KCC) members - then they will receive four Wild Things magazines a year, delivered direct to their post box.
There’s also the opportunity to go on KCC Adventures held by different KCC branches around the country; and entry to our various nationwide challenges, projects and competitions. They could even get published in Wild Things!
