The Gaia Collection is a Young Enterprise Scheme business, run by two highschoolers Eli Bennett and Olivia Ediriweera, with a goal to spread awareness and protect some of New Zealand's endangered wildlife. To do this they have created a unique line of laser engraved wooden earrings.
They are made with sustainably sourced MDF from a local Nelson business and are produced through Abstract Designs in Wellington, and and come with sterling silver hooks.
To start with, their earrings will be available in the shape of the Fairy Tern, Yellow-Eyed Penguin (Hoiho) and Wood Rose.
